The establishing shot for this trailer is a long shot of a girl sitting in a wheelchair down a long dark hall which looks like a hospital. She is also wearing a hospital gown which makes the audience think she has something wrong with her however we are not told if it is physically or mentally. There is diagetic sound of a phone ringing and the shot quickly cuts to a close up of the girl answering the phone. The non- diagetic music that is being played builds tension and stops as the girl says "Dad". As she looks quite scared it leaves an enigam towards the audince becasue they wouldn't know why she seems scared to talk to her dad. the shot then imiidiatly cuts to a car driving down an empty road in day light. This contrasts the last shot as we are shown something quite creepy and confusing to someone relativly normal, this links into mundane realism.
We are shown a short clip of the main characters boyfriend and her in a car crash. This could explain to the audince as to why she was in the hospital in the opening.
